Westerm Leyte College of Ormoc City (WLC) is one of the oldest school or college in Ormoc. As it started during 1949, WLC used to be the school for bad boys. But now, WLC is making a name not in only in Ormoc but in the whole country. Last Decmber 2007 Nurse Licensure Examination, WLC produced twelve (12) new Nurses, the first ever Nurses produced by Ormoc City and made a 100% rate of passers. For the December 2007 BAR Examination, WLC produced two (2) new Lawyers and during the October 2007 CPA Board Examination, WLC produced one (1) CPA. Also during the previous years, the WLC College of Accountancy made a win for some national and regional competitions and quiz bowls. Obviously, WLC is now one of Ormoc’s pride and on its way to become one of the country’s pride.
