today my aussie mate darren rowse from problogger spills the beans on how he made six figures a year when he started blogging and how you can attack some $$$$$$ or some ££££££ out of your blog. its a free video interview hosted by blog squad. darren will pimp . . . i mean promote . . his new book problogger: secrets also in behalf of blogging your spirit to a six-figure income. i just ordered the book on amazon. honestly, when people implore me how a blog can make bucks, i principled point them to problogger because i havent made much from blogging at all. darren asked me to write something this month concerning problogger while he was on holiday but i was solely too busy with travels. sorry darren. heres hoping this will point a insufficient more people to your interview. related: i finally got to play a joke on coffee with darren rowse in april. darren says he started his blog after discovering mine in 2002, making me vicariously famous (problogger is age one of the top blogs in the world) but not vicariously wealthy in the slightest. i should read his book.

Karen Mathieson, Lobey Dosser day, The Toy Orchestra, Who Stole My Sausage and Rain, Rain, Oh and More Rain

do you come up with that title’s too long? it pssd it down today, but i hush managed to discourage some drawing done. first i did the 3 showings of who stole my sausage, and got some great pics. even the last fulfilment where it absolutely apple juiced it down - plainly apple juice is what is used as urine in theatrical stage proppage - or so i was informed when the clergyman figure in the performance drank some of rorey the dog’s jugful. yum.after that i drew some jazz at the tchai-ovna ‘hidden garden’ round the corner from gibson st. was a lovely setting, met some great people, from shabby and new, the jazz was good, and i know the yogi chai is definitely good and most welcome on a pssy era like today.managed to hooked some bangra at the glasgow mela in kelvingrove park with the awaz fm dj’s disquieting to get a thunder from the well dressed, made up crowds of the colourful young asian community, though mum’s and dad’s and other relations seemed a bit too unfriendly to join in the yelling rough! didn’t fancy one particular almost imperceptible-eyed young chap hawking back his rotweiler. a only one people moved out of his slobbery regard, sorry that’s the dog not the youth’s. both seemed to be keeping a keenish eye on the bright yellow flourescent bobbys at the sides.not many ‘white’ folks in amongst that lot which was dissappointing. seemed like good fun though the crowd could maintain done speculator giving it laldy at the dj’s.after that i scooted on up for some tres damp drawings of the winter’s record by the globe. apparently their set got damaged in ‘extreme survive conditions’ last tenebriousness which was a pity, but the with the stupendous and dramatic backdrop of the glasgow university, and the gonging of it’s bell, what more do you need - prosperously i could’ve maybe done with a fisherman’s brolly/tent and a steaming cup of soya hot chocolate, not that i’m particular or anything.also to catch up on the last two days i’ve been drawing aleksander kudajcyk’s spectacular though poorly attended doing at the hunterian gallery. it was a year’s anniversary since he’d been discovered working as a janitor at the university, so it was a trustworthy shame that not more publicity was done for it. his hands are really completely something, fluid and courteous. i also drew karen mathieson for the sake of the first time though she’s from my local village taynuilt and her sister in law taught me at primary. she’s got an extraordinary voice and a lovely presence and although it’s not the assort of music i’d initially go to lend an ear to to, she has inspired me to learn some more ancient scottish songs, because people, you can’t beat a proficient ceilidh when it arises.the fete de la musique at brel was jiving though i only managed to take in 3 different bands, and make use of 2. i’ve forgotten their names but will appreciate them soon.then there was the play with orchestra at the kibble. it was fun, and i did have a grin on my face completely, but found the ending left me somewhat uninspired. the lead chap raymond? seemed a bit like a clown dressed up in an indie boy’s outfit, and the general compassionate of the ‘music’ was as someone put it, a ‘dark lullaby’. however, i didn’t find it reservoir flow structured, it didn’t amount to anything, john cage was doing things with that with impeccable timing and composure decades ago, and was more humble about it. i’m keeping an open mind, but if i had had to pay up 8 quid to associate with this groups’ experimenting, i don’t think i’d deliver been too impressed. they should have practiced more.all in all though, i’ve found the west end fest to be full of fantastic little events, and i’ve been charming pleased with the drawings i’ve done too. prints desire be destined for sale of any pictures you take it, just email me at info@jennysoep.com price is 35 poonds, despite the fact that if you’re in the model, you get a lovely discount.night tenebrosity suited for now.

i remember reading along opportunity ago in a register that “what draws and keeps so myriad in california is not so much what the state has as what it suggests.” when i quoted this to a cobber at the time who was a latest shift from unexplored york to the west coast, he bristled. there certainly are wonderful things apropos this remarkable state, but i still think that reference still makes a valid point.in the after all is said manner i call to mind a consider this has been the case with le figaro cafe recompense many years, if not decades. the location and place itself has been a mecca more for what the village represented than what it has been in recent years. and le figaro cafe was certainly not a window into history of this neighborhood, steeped in bohemian history.recently, le figaro cafe at 186 bleecker, closed shop after years in duty. it was a bittersweet announcement, but for most i characterize as their brand-new figaro cafe experience was more keen than sweet. many complained of bad service and mediocre commons. the place had basically been a tourist draw for eons. this is not surprising being located at bleecker and macdougal streets.the saddest thing about a place breed this closing is that we lose a chunk of history. and the replacement will me most likely be a Rather residence that is side of our new, temporal world …
